Vietnam Birding Tours provides 21 days Vietnam Endemic Bird Tour Hanoi

Day 1: Hanoi airport – Sapa.
Arrive in Hanoi then transfer to Sapa and reaching Sapa on early morning.

Day 2: Sapa-Fansipan Mt.
A full day birding in Fansipan Mt, our main targets are endemic White-throated, Pale-throated Wren Babblers.
Other species: Beautiful species as: Pale-billed Parrotbills, Yellow-bellied Fantail, Black-faced Warbler. Scarlet-breasted Sunbird, Spectaled Barwing…
Overnight at Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa to Hanoi.
A day birding at Sapa for White-throated and Pale-throated Wren Babbler again then back to Hanoi via Express at night and reaching a Hanoi at early morning. Depart to Cuc Phuong after breakfast in Hanoi.
Overnight at Cuc Phuong.

Day 4: Cuc Phuong National Park.
A full day birding at Cuc Phuong for main target endemic Tonkin Partridge. Others species Limestone Wren Babbler, Pied Falconet, White-winged Magpie, White-tailed Flycatcher.

Day 5: Cuc Phuong – Phong Nha-Ke Bang via Dong Hoi airport.
An early birding at Cuc Phuong before drive to airport, stop at Van long Nature Reserve where is rare beauty primate Delacour’s Langur then to Noi Bai airport to reaching a night fly to Doi Hoi airport.
Overnight at Phong Nha- Ke Bang.

Day 6: Phong Nha_Ke Bang National Park.
A full at Limstone forest of Phong Nha-Ke Bang,. The main endemic target is: Sooty-Babbler, and the recently split Limestone Leaf Warbler. Red-collared Woodpecker and rare endemic primate Ha Tinh Langur.
Overnight at Phong Nha-Ke Bang.

Day 7: Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park to Bach Ma.
A morning birding at Phong Nha-Ke Bang before heading to summit of Bach Ma Mt and have some birding at afternoon.
Overnight at Bach Ma.

Day 8: Bach Ma National Park.
A full day birding at Bach Ma and main target endemic is Annam Partridge, and Asia Coolest Primate Red-shanked Duoc Langur. Near endemic Indochinese Wren Babbler, Indochinese Yuhina.
Overnight at Bach Ma.

Day 9: Bach Ma – Dak To.
An early morning birding at lowland in Bach Ma for Annam Partridge before drive to Dak To at mid-morning.
Overnight at Dak To.

Day 10: Ngoc Linh.
Depart to Ngoc linh from Dak To where is endemic Golden-winged Laughingthush, only discovery in 1990s. Near endemic Black-crowned Barwing and Indochinese Fulvetta also find here.
Overnight at Ngoc Linh.

Day 11: Ngoc Linh – Mang Den.
An early birding at Ngoc Linh before heading to Mang Den.
Overnight at Mang Den.

Day 12 & 13: Mang Den.
Two full day birding at Mang Den, the main endemic seldom-see, Chesnut-eared laughingthrush. And rare endemic primate Grey-shanked Duoc Langur, Others species around Mang Den included Yellow-billed Nuthatch, Pale-capped Pigeon, Grey-headed Parrotbill.
Overnight at Mang Den.

Day 14: Mang Den – Ho Chi Minh airport via Pleiku.
An early birding at Mang Den before drive to Pleiku airport to Hochiminh to Tan Phu forest.
Overnight at Tan Phu.

Day 15: Tan Phu – Cat Tien National Park.
A full days at Tan Phu, our target birds are: Bar-bellied and Blue-rumped Pittas, Siamese Fireback, Germain’s Peacock Pheasant, Black-backed Kingfisher, Green-legged Partridge, Orange-breasted Partridge, Grey-faced Tit Babbler. Others species along the road are: Abbott’s Babbler, and Black-and-red, Banded and Dusky Broadbills, Banded Kingfisher, Orange-breasted Trogon. At night around Tan Phu we will look for the hard to find Spot-bellied Eagle Owl and other species such as Collared Scope Owl, Asian Barred Owlet, and Brown Boobok. The drive to Cattien for an afternoon birding.

Day 16: Cat Tien National Park – Di Linh.
A morning birding around Tan Phu then a 3 hour drive to Di Linh. Birding along the main road where we can find the beautiful Indochinese Green Magpie, Black-headed Parrotbill, Annam and Red-vented Barbet, other endemics are possible here: Vietnamese Cutia, Dalat Shrike Babbler, Vietnamese Greenfinch.
Overnight at Dilinh.

Day 17: Di Linh – Dalat.
An morning birding at Dilinh to look for others species: Black-hooded Laughingthrush, Indochinese Magpie Greed Cochoa before drive to Dalat. After checking-in at hotel, there should be time for some afternoon birding near Dalat for endemic Grey-crowned Crocias.
Overnigh at Dalat.

Day: 18 and 19: Dalat Plateau.
Two full days at Dalat where home of seven endemic Species as such as: Vietnamese Cutia, Grey-crowned Crocias, Orange-breasted, Collared Laughingthrushes, Black-crowned Fulvetta, Vietnamese Greenfinch, Dalat Shrike Babbler.
Others targers as: Dalat Bush Warbler, White-cheecked Laughingthrush, Grey-crowned Tit, Black-crowned Parrottbill, Vietnamese Red Crossbil, Yellow-crowned Magpie( Common Magpie), Indochinese Wren Babbler, Rusty-nanped, Blue Pittas, Spotted Forktail,

Day 20: Dalat – Ho Chi Minh airport.
A morning birding around Dalat then take a sort fly to Ho Chi Minh.
Overnight at Ho Chi Minh.

Day 21: Departure.
Transfer for Tan Son Nhat airport Ho Chi Minh for departure. End service.
